- Giving visitors information
- Writing and curating exhibitions
- Cataloguing the museum collection
- Typing and office work
- Cleaning and maintenance
- Acting as history walk wardens
- Researching history topics
I’m interested! What do I need to do?
You don’t need to be a history expert to join our volunteer team; our support programme includes full induction and training for the role. Opportunities for courses and taster sessions in archaeology, British Sign Language and photography are also regular features of our programme.

Volunteers must be aged 16 or over. If you’re looking for work placement opportunities, Penmaenmawr Museum hosts up to three placements per year. Please email us for further information.
