Cynefin Gift Shop

The Museum gift shop, Cynefin, offers a large range of gifts from socks and soaps to jewellery and artwork.  We sell numerous books, in both Welsh and English, covering Welsh history and Penmaenmawr, as well as books and educational gifts for children. The majority of our eco-friendly products are created in Wales, with many coming from the local area. All proceeds from the shop go towards the running of Penmaenmawr Museum and caring for our collection.  We look forward to your visit.

Museum Cafe

Penmaenmawr Museum Café offers far more than just a place to pause—it’s a warm, welcoming spot where visitors can relax and enjoy great refreshments after exploring the exhibits. The café serves a wide variety of teas and freshly brewed coffee, perfect for a quiet moment or a catch-up with friends. There’s also a tempting selection of snacks, sandwiches, and paninis prepared daily for a light lunch or something more filling. What truly stands out are the delicious homemade cakes and biscuits, baked with care and always full of flavour. Whether you’re visiting the museum or simply passing through, it’s well worth stopping in.
