Join us for a guided walk exploring the life of Sir Albert Evans Jones CBE, known by his bardic name ‘Cynan’, and his time in Penmaenmawr as a Minister. Cynan was an influential literary figure. He was the only person to have been elected as Archdruid of the National Eisteddfod twice and the first Archdruid to accept that the Gorsedd was the invention of Iolo Morganwg and that it had no links to antiquity or ‘ancient druids’.
Meet at Penmaenmawr Museum at 12 noon on Saturday June 1st, 2019. It will be a gentle guided stroll. It is free to join and everyone is welcome!
